My name is Bryan Neill and I am a New Media major at the University of Tampa. My journey to this point has been a long and winding one. I started college with no clear direction of what I wanted to do after changing my major multiple times, dropping out of community college (twice!) I'm the closest I've ever been to completing my bachelors degree.
The ten years it's taken me to get here hasn't all been lost, along the way I found my passion for technology. Started working full time as a front end software engineer at company back home in Baltimore, MD and earned an associates degree in computer science. I found that front end development combined my creative drive with my passions in technology. Not wanting to continue pursuing a degree solely in something I was already fairly skilled in, I applied to the New Media program as I felt I could take advantage of my programming knowledge as well as learning the creative and design skills I feel I lack. I hope FMX210 can start me down the path of improving my knowledge of design, and push me creatively as well as technically.
In addition to work and school, I have a passion for television and film, I play golf and collect baseball cards (don't ask me how much I spent on them this summer).
