I've never like describing myself or talking about myself, really. However for the sake of the assignment I managed to come up with five words that I thought represented who I am. Those five words were nerd, down to earth (multiple words, I know), chill, easygoing and intelligent. I brainstormed and drew logos for quite some time, but in my head I knew what I wanted my logo to look like. As a computer programmer the word nerd is used to describe me all too often. I coupled that with my word of choice and an old school computer terminal font to create a simplistic logo. I think the logo is well suited to branding, because you could put any word you want inside the brackets. The green font makes it pop on a black background and the purple slash adds a touch of uniqueness.
Our final assignment was to create a portfolio with all our assignments throughout the semester. In keeping with the programming theme I made the text look like you were using the terminal to navigate a file system. In reflection, learning the Adobe Suite has a lot of similarities to programming. It reinforced for me that one of the most invaluable skills to have is knowing how to learn.
